In April 2022, J Balvin postponed his ‘José tour’ a week before it was supposed to kick off due to COVID-related precautions.
Balvin, 39, ended up playing a handful of international dates that year — and a single U.S. show in Long Beach, CA — but never made up the bulk of the postponed gigs leaving fans in the lurch.
That all changes now.
The “Mi Gente” singer just announced he’s hitting arenas all over North America for the first time in six years.
Starting in March 2025, Balvin will embark on his 27-concert ‘Back To The Rayo Tour’ in support of his Grammy-nominated album “Rayo” (which is named after his first car).
This time around, Balvin will headline huge shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Sunday, March 30 and Newark’s Prudential Center on Thursday, April 10.
“’Rayo’ is full of stories and lessons,” he told UPROXX. “My first car took me to many places that shaped my career as an artist and as a person. ‘Rayo’ means a lot to me, as my friends would say, who also joined me in those adventures of riding in a red car through Colombia.”
If you want to take a “Rayo” ride with J Balvin, tickets are available for his North American concerts as soon as today.
