The drama-filled YSL RICO case, which was previously centered around Young Thug, is finally over, but it may not have ended the way prosecutors wanted.

It’s been 30 months since Young Thug’s initial arrest alongside 27 other YSL associates in an extensive RICO indictment, and there has been an array of twists and turns.

Prosecutors initially struggled to assemble a jury, and laterdefendants were severed from the case as the prosecution began to unravel.

Eventually, the presiding judge, Judge Glanville, was replaced by Judge Whitaker after an alleged secret meeting with the state’s star witness, YSL Woody.

Whitaker was all business and guided the train wreck back on the tracks. Last month, Young Thug was released after accepting a plea deal that banned him from Atlanta for 10 years while he served probation. After Thug’s release from the YSL trial, two defendants remained: Yak Gotti and Shannon Stillwell.

According to WSBTV, Yak Gotti and Shannon Still well will regain their freedom today following the jury’s verdict.

Deamonte Kendrick, better known as Yak Gotti, was found not guilty on all charges, and his co-defendant Shannon Stillwell was found guilty on only one charge, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
