Elon Musk reacts to Dana Carvey’s ‘SNL’ impression after election

Elon Musk had a scathing response to “Saturday Night Live” spoofing him on last night’s episode.

During the cold opening skit, the cast members cheekily showed allegiance to President-elect Donald Trump following his historic victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.

Dana Carvey – who previously played President Joe Biden – made an unexpected appearance as Musk, 53, who backed Trump, 78, in the race.

“Check it out dark MAGA,” the 69-year-old comedian said while impersonating the Tesla founder in a black MAGA hat. “But seriously, I run the country now,” he added.

Musk lashed out at Carvey and “SNL” on his own social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), on Sunday.

“SNL has been dying slowly for years, as they become increasingly out of touch with reality,” Musk wrote.

“Their last-ditch effort to cheat the equal airtime requirements and prop up Kamala before the election only helped sink her campaign further,” the billionaire added, referring to the FCC commissioner blasting Harris, 60, for allegedly breaking the Equal Time rule after her appearance on the show last week.

In another response to the sketch, Musk wrote, “Dana Carvey just sounds like Dana Carvey.”

“They are so mad that @realDonaldTrump won @nbcsnl,” Musk said in another message.

Musk previously hosted “SNL” in 2021.

On last night’s episode hosted by Bill Burr, Carvey introduced his Musk impersonation as the show reacted to the results of the election.

“America’s going to be like one of my rockets,” Carvey as Musk said in the cold opening, while jumping up and down. “They’re super cool and super fun, but there’s a slight chance it could blow up and everybody dies. Haha!”

“See you in the White House!” he added.

The rest of the cast then began singing “Y.M.C.A.,” an anthem at Trump’s rallies, as they poked fun at the “young men” who helped elect the Republican politician.

The SpaceX founder was one of Trump’s most high-profile supporters in the 2024 presidential election cycle.

He donated nearly $120 million alone to a pro-Trump super PAC, addressed rallies on Trump’s behalf and set up a $1 million-per-day giveaway for registered voters.

At an Oct. 5 rally in Butler, Pa., — where Trump was nearly assassinated several months earlier — Musk took the stage and urged voters to elect the 45th president again.
