Meghan Markle, Prince Harry unite to tout charity work amid professional separation

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry put on a united front in a new Archewell Foundation video amid their professional separation.

The video released Tuesday showed the couple together in behind-the-scenes moments from their charity appearances throughout 2024, as they highlighted the progress that their foundation has made.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been attending various events solo over the past few months.

The clip, which was played to the Coldplay song “Sky Full of Stars,” Meghan, 43, and Harry, 40, were shown at the many philanthropic events that they attended since January.

There were glimpses of their joint outings, including their summer trip to Colombia, as well as their solo appearances.

“A safer world is possible — and together we can and will make it happen,” Harry says in a voiceover at the start of the video.

He later adds, “Every single one of you inspire me and inspire us every single day. So please continue to be there to support each other. Here’s to 2025.”

“Archewell Foundation raised a record amount of 5.4million in their third year,” the caption of the Instagram post read. “This was outlined in the foundation’s 2023-2024 Impact Report, highlighted the couple’s key initiatives, including visits to Nigeria, Colombia, and Canada and programmes.”

“Funds were allocated to various causes, including £1.3 million for initiatives such as The Parents Network, which protects children from online harm, the Welcome Project, and others focused on community well-being and mental health,” the caption continued. “Lesser-known contributions include to initiatives combating misinformation and uplifting women.”

The post also mentioned Meghan and Harry’s work with President Joe Biden’s daughter Ashley Biden’s Women’s Wellness (Spa)ce, a trauma-informed wellness center for women in Philadelphia.

According to PEOPLE, who reviewed the Archewell Foundation’s 2023 tax records, the organization donated $250,000 to the Women’s Wellness (Spa)ce.

Since their trip to Colombia in August, Harry and Meghan have been spending time apart in favor of doing solo public appearances.

Last month, Harry attended a string of Invictus Games-related events in Vancouver, Canada, while Meghan was seen joining her celebrity pals at a beauty launch event sans her husband.

The “Suits” actress later hosted an intimate Thanksgiving dinner for the Southern California Welcome Project without her husband.

The pair did, however, appear in a joint video in honor of Veteran’s Day on Nov. 11 where they discussed prioritizing children’s safety online.

In the clip, Harry admitted the pair had been “at a crossroads” with work in recent weeks.
